Every hero keeps one look
In many games you design your own character. In Koino you won't: you pick one of the people from the story, and they always look the same.
Why fixed heroes
The Mighty Men of David are named people. Shammah, Benaiah, Asahel and the others are listed in 2 Samuel 23, and each did something specific. We want you to know who you're playing, and to recognise them across the screen in a busy minigame.
There's a practical reason too. Our trailers and cinematics show the game as it really is, so a character in a trailer has to look exactly like the character you play. One fixed outfit per hero makes that possible.
Short tunics and trousers
Everyone in Koino wears a belted tunic that ends just above the knee, over trousers, with wrapped boots or sandals. It's ancient Near Eastern clothing, cut for running, climbing, herding animals and building an ark.
Who you can play
In The Mighty Men of David: Josheb-basshebeth, Eleazar, Shammah, Abishai, Benaiah, Asahel, Elhanan and Zelek the Ammonite. Each one has their own colour and one object that makes them easy to spot, like Shammah's round shield or Asahel's running shoes.
In Ark: Forty Days: Noah, Shem, Ham and Japheth, each with their own job on the ark.
